It's been an exciting weekend - especially with a big pile of snow last night (well according to NC standards, 5 inches is a lot!). Here you can see the maple buds covered with snow. the Cherries bloomed last week and many daffodils were up this week, so hopefully this hasn't caused any problems - botanically speaking. It's weird here in the winter - On Thursday we were wearing shorts and t-shirts and on Monday it's snow and ice!
Of course Arlo thought all of this was interesting - maybe more interesting from inside than out! Arlo refused to let go of his matchbox car so his mitten-less hand got cold very quickly. Not to mention he didn't want to touch the snow - he just took off up the street - seemingly with a mission, that he obviously felt we needn't be a part of...He definitely has our evil Independence DNA.
