So we've had a busy month. Spring has just flown by and it feels like summer has settled in - about 90 degrees this last weekend. The spring flowers are fading, the trees are all out, and our neighbors roses are blooming!
We've had a stretch of company - Arlo enjoyed a week with Nana and Pop, and then a quick weekend with Grammy. Easter Sunday we ventured out to see 'The Dead' (Great Show!) and then the following weekend we spent a beautiful Saturday outside at the local blue grass festival at Shakori Hills (Another Great Show - checkout the Boulder Acoustic Society - what a great band!). Arlo is on the move - he didn't stop truckin' for the whole festival day - so we were lucky to see any performances! He's talkin' up a storm too...He's proudly declared several things to me including "I did it" and "There, perfect!". Of course we're having the most fun with 'Oh, Man!' - he's too funny sometimes.
Arlo's also decided this month that he will no longer eat 'baby food'. His latest choices include pasta with vodka sauce, Indian food (gotta love those spicy papdums and spinach pakoras!), spinach artichoke dip and spicy meatballs - oh and don't forget hush puppies, after all Arlo is a good southern boy!
Ready for some Blue Grass...
